ARAC Akatarawa Division meets regularly with Wellington Regional Council (GW) at least 3 times a year.

At these meetings, all matters pertaining to management of the Forest are discussed, with specific emphasis on recreation. ARAC is always seeking ways by which recreational opportunities and experiences can be improved.
